This residential community is located inland surrounded by some of the two most popular parks in Fort Lauderdale, Middle River Terrace Park located at 1329 NE. 7th Ave. and South Middle River Park at 1718 NW. 6th Ave. Both parks feature a variety of playgrounds, benches, pavilions, bicycle racks and walking and jogging trails. It's also very close to Victoria Park but all of the blocks and roads with in Middle River Park are residential. Just outside of the boundary is the Virginia Young elementary school and St. Anthony Catholic school which is a couple of blocks away from Highway one offering shops and restaurants.
